YOUR FIRST VISIT
Visiting us for the first time? No fear! We will meet your family, and one of our volunteers will lead your family to check your child in to their age-appropriate room. We can’t wait to meet you!
SAFETY
Our volunteers are trained to create an atmosphere where families can confidently leave their children while they are in service. Every volunteer is screened with a background check and there’s more than one of them in every class to ensure the safety and security of your children. Don’t worry parents – we’ve got this!
SERVICE
On the first Sunday of every month the whole church joins together in worship at our Communion Service. Church services for the kids hold 2-3 times a month on other Sundays.
Your kids will experience an age appropriate lesson that will teach them about God, His love for them, and what it means to be a believer in Christ. The teaching is interactive and utilises multiple approaches for different learning styles. Our goal is for kids to understand who Jesus is, how He can make a difference in their lives, and how they can navigate this great big world as believers. They will also have a lot of fun!
FAMILY SEATING
If you would prefer to bring your kids to every service, we encourage you to take advantage of our family seating located at the back of the auditorium. This seating is conveniently designed so that if your child becomes a little too active or fussy, you can easily slip out to the side room where you can still enjoy the service via video. When you and your kids are ready, we will make sure they have a great time learning about Jesus in KingsWord Kids.
KIDS ANNUAL SUMMER BOOT CAMP AND TEEN’S CONFERENCE
Even though we minister to our children and teenagers every Sunday, we also spend some time with them over 2 days in the summer to really engage with them in teaching, fun activities, worship, fellowship, games, and so much more.
These meetings take place on the last Friday and Saturday in July, and will be announced each year on our events page. The kids are split into their various age groups with teachers and support workers ministering to them and ensuring they have a great time at Boot Camp and our Teen’s conference.
They will learn more about God’s word focused on our theme for the year, they will make new friends, they will spend time in worship, and also have access to lots of fun activities. It is a great time for an all round spiritual, mental and physical engagement. The kids love it every year.
